Government
Vice Governor

The passion to lead and serve the people must have been running from his blood since he was young. But as American football coach Vince Lombardi once said, leaders aren’t born, they are made.

This young dynamic leader’s ability to lead was not honed overnight. Experience and opportunity paved his way to the career path he chose to take. The trail is not smooth and easy at all times. But Mark Leviste took the challenge and since then vigorously involve himself in it.

To make things sound a little lighter, did you know that Mark was once a television personality? Mark became part of the ABS-BCN Talent Center and he was even a member of the Cal Carrie International Models, Philippines. So he is no stranger in eye of the public and has eversince been a people person.

Mark is the second of the three sons of Conrad and Patsie Leviste. Conrad is a real-estate developer and former governor of Board of Investments and his mom Patsie is a philanthropist. Mark must have inherited his business management skills from his father and the heart for the people from his mother.

With a degree in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management in De La Salle University – College of St. Benilde, Mark has been involved in running their family businesses. This is where his people management competence was further strengthened, making him adept in leading others towards their own growth.

And so it was in 2004 when he took a bolder step to serve the Batanguenos by running as a Board Member of the 4th District of Batangas. Prior to this, Mark was a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Councilor from 1996 to 2002. He also became a Chairman for Youth Affairs of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

After three years of serving the 4th district of the province, Mark pursued a higher position in the 2007 election. It was not an easy battle, but eventually Mark was declared as the new vice governor of Batangas. Being in the position where the public has great expectations, Mark strive to reach out to the people and extended service with good intentions. And if given the chance to do it one more time, Mark would still be holding the same goal and that is to bring Batangas and its people to greater heights.

Ito si Mark Leviste. Ang Bise Gobernador na maka-Diyos, may karanasan, at mapagkakatiwalaan.
